On-site Student Assessment Fee for HLTAID005 Provide first aid in remote situations
This unit of competency deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation. The unit applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.
This course is run as a two day course from 9am to 5pm on day one in the classroom with real time remote training conducted in bush or parkland on the second day between 9am to 12noon.
Note: There’s a minimum of 4 required, with a maximum of 24 students per course.
