As a local rural organisation ourselves, we know how hard it is for rural event organisers to find all the money needed to run events and we are more than happy to provide Event First Aid Coverage and Stand-by Emergency Medical Response Services coverage at Market Days or Street Festivals from as little as $198.00 inc. GST / day (subject to availability).
From Market Days, Music Festivals, Cycling or Motocross events, Emergency Medical Response is ready to respond to any type of incident and provide the Emergency Medical Care needed until our handover to Rural Ambulance Victoria for transport to Hospital. Ambulance Victoria provides pre-hospital care for patients experiencing medical emergencies and is also the only organisation in Victoria permitted to provide Emergency Medical Transport to Hospital by road and air.
The photos below show our handover to Ambulance Victoria on Sunday, February 24 at the Maryborough & District Motorcycle Club first Club Day for 2013. EMR, in green, does a whole lot more than just band-aids.
The MotoX Rider had crashed after a jump and was struck by a bike to the back of the shoulder area. It was unclear whether this was his own bike or another rider’s bike. The rider had to be collared and prep for transport to Maryborough Hospital as a suspected spinal injury casualty.
The Maryborough & District Motorcycle Club is an incorporated, community sporting club, with public liability insurance, located in Victoria. The club aims to provide a community ride park for members, to have a safe, legal venue to ride dirt bikes. The Club membership covers all age demographics, both male and female. We consider it a family club, run for riders, by riders.
The Maryborough & District Motorcycle Club’s home track is located at the Alma Recreation Reserve, approximate 7 kms out of town at 442 Maryborough – St Arnaud Rd, Alma. VicRoads reference Map 58 C2 – Near the intersection of Maryborough – St Arnaud Rd and Walkers Rd.
